Christmas Coupons

Do you need a fun and inexpensive idea for your family’s stockings? My family and I like to give each other coupons sometimes for Christmas. This started when my kids were young , we were living in Portland and money was a bit tight. A few coupons my husband and I have done for our kids are ones for extra game time, going out for ice cream, or a choosing a meal or movie of their choice (with parent approval). I have enjoyed receiving coupons from my kids for no complaining for a day, giving me breakfast in bed, or doing the dishes for me. Sometimes simple gifts like this can be the most memorable. Believe me, I remember when I could use a coupon to relax and have one of the kids make lunch for me, and the kids excitement when they could pull out a coupon to stay up an hour past their normal bedtime. We haven’t used coupons as much lately as our kids are getting older, but no matter how old they get, they still don’t mind getting a coupon to go get ice cream!
