I love spending time with my family, whether it is just talking, playing a game or watching a movie. Having a close family has been a priority to my husband and myself. When the kids were very young this was difficult, because my husband was a youth pastor and his evenings were full. I became discouraged and overwhelmed from taking care of three little kids close in age. After my husband became the senior pastor of a church in Portland, we made a priority to set aside a night for family.
